What can MarIA do?
- Inbound calls (Voice): the patient calls and MarIA answers. The agent identifies the need, queries the EHR, and acts: schedules, cancels, or modifies appointments, or simply provides information.
- WhatsApp: the patient messages the center’s number and MarIA manages appointments and answers FAQs just like on a phone call, in the same conversation thread.
- Integrated appointment management: connected to your EHR/HIS, MarIA queries real-time availability, confirms slots, and creates or cancels appointments during the conversation.
- FAQs about centers and services: answers frequent questions using your centers’ information: specialties, schedules, coverage, and locations.
- WhatsApp confirmations and reminders: after scheduling an appointment (by voice or chat), MarIA can send a confirmation and a reminder to the patient via WhatsApp.
- Outbound calls: MarIA performs follow up calls using questionnaires agreed with the client for each campaign.
How does it work?
- LLM agent architecture: MarIA uses Omniloy’s agent engine, where specialized models combine conversational AI with clear business rules for each task.
- EHR/HIS integration via webhooks: MarIA calls your hospital system in real time to get benefits, query available slots, and create or cancel appointments within the conversation.
- FAQ knowledge base: indexed documents that feed the agent with information about your centers, services, and coverage to answer accurately.
